flash_programming_cpu02 example hangs on SeizeFlashPump() (TMS320F28377D)

Examining the semaphore register shows it is 0.

I've had other difficulties with this example and now have to use tortuous method to download the code.

I've run the CPU1 version of this code and made sure that the flash semaphore is released.

I've searched the forum for this and it seems that most issues are with custom loaders and not example code.

What do I need to do in order that CPU2 acquire the semaphore? The CPU1 version had no such difficulty.

This problem may be related to an issue I experienced downloading code for this example (e2e.ti.com/.../2030216 After resolving that, acquiring the flash pump semaphore seems not to be a problem and the example runs to completion.

I might suggest that TI hire an intern who can go through these examples to verify that they all work and get the non-working ones fixed. It's not a job I would care to do but problems like this result in lots of wasted time.

Are you sure its a semaphore issue? I had an issue on another flash write example where the length passed to the flash write function overran the source buffer and caused an issue where the processor entered an endless loop in the default interrupt handler.

Supposedly they're fixing it, but they haven't yet.

In this case issue was with project setting. You may have faced different issue.
