Tools read code for C2000 and generate as hex file

Hi Champion,

Do you know we have any tools can read C2000 code and generate as hex file? Uniflash just can read as bin or coffee file.

Joe,

I think you are not asking about the hex utility to generate the hex file. You are asking, whether UniFlash or any other tool can read the already programmed memory content from a device and output it in to a hex file. Am I correct?

If yes, neither UniFlash nor CCS can do it.
See if you can use CCS memory window's "Save Memory" feature to get a coff file and then convert it in to a hex file.

I checked with Codeskin as well. Their C2Prog tool can not do this as of now.

So do you know we have tools can convert .out file to hex file? Another question, what is coff file format? Is it same as .out file?
