TMS320F28035: SSI Encoder Interface

Hello,

I am trying to setup an encoder interface with the TMS320F28035.  Has anyone done something similar?  Would connecting to the SPI interface be the most direct approach?

    Aditya,

    SSI Encoder interface may not be directly compatible SPI interface on F28035.
    This is mainly due to the timeout requirement at the end of the frame (Tm - on the dataline).
    Please do check the encoder interface specification for the encoder you plan to use and decide.
