TMS320F28035: Outputting the variable through GPIO pins

Hi All!

I was just wondering if we can output the variable through the GPIO pins. If i want to display a variable in oscilloscope how could i do it possibly without interfacing DAC device with TMS320F28035. Any other built in DAC for such feature? and what would be the range of output possible?

Hi Samir,

Nope this device doesn't have an internal DAC. Why not simply use a serial protocol for the same? Also, what would be your variable values?

Hi Samir,

It is possible to low-pass filter the output of an ePWM to act like a DAC. Have a read through some of these other e2e threads:

Thank you so much! can you please elaborate a bit more on it. The variable value may range from -20 to 20 but i can normalize it to some range.
