LAUNCHXL-F28069M: ADC read for 10V p-p analog signal

Part Number: LAUNCHXL-F28069M
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLV2772

Hi,

I want my launchpad to read 10V p-p Sin wave signal and give me digital value with the help of ADC channel on the board. The board can sustain max up to 3.3V then how one can do this for measuring signal with higher voltage than 3.3V.

One TI employee suggested to use Op-Amp. But doesnt launchpad has its internal Op-amp for voltage devider? I couldnot find any HW schematic for ADC.

Thank you

regards

Rahul

Nope, it doesn't. You'll have to use an Op-amp circuitry.

  • Hi Gautam,

Can you tell me what is the input at pin4 of TLV2772 Op amp and where does this 1.65V come from ? What is and why we are using there 1.65V?

    thank you

  • Hi,

Resolver actually has transformer ratio of 0.2810 and now I am getting much better Sinusoidal of p-p 2V. Now I want to sample it with ADC and then read the value.

If I directly give this -1V to +1V signal to ADC then it will not convert to digital value correctly. What can be the solution.

The biggest problem is I dont have my external mode of simulink running. I have tried alot and posted on TI forum also  but couldnot get any solution.

I cannot simulate my model in real time. I have tried with SCI transmit with putty but its not what I like to read data from.

I want my data to run from scope after ADC but external mode is not working as i said.

Any suggestion for these above two problems?

    regards

    Rahul

  • Hello Rahul,

Contact MathWorks Technical Support for the External mode question - this is not really a TI question, as MathWorks authors the C2000 support for Simulink and Embedded Coder.
