F28M35M52C: Can I assign GPIO128 control to the M3 side

Hi,

We basically first cut of our have hardware and PCB in front of us. The hardware guy has assigned GPIO128 to LED for heatbeat indicator. I do not know how to get the C28 to reassign the pin to the M3 side. Is it possible? Manual is not very clear. It just says that by default GPIO128 is controlled by C28.

Hi Robert,

GPIO128 can not be assigned to M3. "Figure 6-17. Pin Muxing on AIO_MUX1, AIO_MUX2, and GPIO_MUX2" in device manual shows that GPIO128 to GPIO135 are only connected to C28x side. You need to change the connection or use IPC method to send message from M3 to C28x to toggle this pin.
