LAUNCHXL-F28377S: SCI boot flash programming with C2prog

Hi all,

I'd like to know flash programming with SCI boot.

Currently I get the following error in C2prog.

I am writing FLASH by the following flow.

1) Generate a hex file with the following settings.

2) Make the LAUNCHXL-28377S's boot pin SCI boot

3) Power on the board and start up with SCI boot

4) Run C2Prog with the following settings.

5) Then the following error is output.

*** PLEASE RESET TARGET IN SCI BOOT-LOADER MODE ***
Connecting with target (autobaud)... OK.
Bootloading... failed (no response)!

Are there other required settings?

Hi, are you also programming security password in the device? Also have you checked the value on GPIO72/GPIO84 pin of device to make sure these have correct value for SCI boot?

No. It is only application code.

Yes I checked it.

GPIO84 = High, GPIO72 = Low, TRST = Low

Can C2prog v1.7 write FLASH of F28377s?

Hi,

C2Prog is 3rd party tool. As per their website they support Delfino device but you can directly send them email at "info@codeskin.com" to get confirmation about this specific device.
