We are building TI design TIDA-00558 and it requires TI part TMDX28069USB but this part is no longer available (obsolete), what TI part will be the best replacement for that microcontroller package?

Unfortunately the team who did this TID used a tool that was already obsolete...

It will not be straight forward, but a LAUNCHXL-F28069M or TMDSCNCD28069 / TMDSCNCD28069ISO would be the appropriate tool to try to use.

most TI Designs are HW only and don't release the SW used to verify the HW due to support considerations.

This TIDesign appears to fit that model.

No, Nelson is looking for the software specific to TIDA-00558 , which was not released.
