Class-D sub-woofer audio amplifier with Piccolo

I am not sure if subwoofer is implemented using Piccolo or not but C2000 series device has been utilized to implement subwoofer for many years now...even 2407 is capable of implementing the functions and therefore I am certain Piccolo is more than capable to implement all the fuctions required for a subwoofer. C2000 is used in higher end subwoofers (I have one in my house) and we have built up a small class D amp system (CD audio in, HRPWM out; added features for volume control, eCAP for remote control, etc).  It's an interesting application, and we should probably hand it over to a university or a 3P to take further, it just isn't a high priority for us and we haven't spent time "productizing" what we have to enable customers to take it further.

If we have a very low power Piccolo device, with wifi, it could make for an interesting speaker application.  I've also seen some interesting re-uses in automotive amplifier applications....
