Part Number: TMS320F28027

hello

good day !

in  InstaSPIN projects and Labs User's Guide we must click the Resume

to run program . I want to run program as soon as I plug it my board in to power(without computer or JTAG programmer ) .I do not need to debug .what should I do ?

thanks for attention

Dave.

  • Hi Dave,

You need to run your code from Flash. Right Click your Project -> Build Configuration -> Set Active -> Select Flash

Debug your code again -> once the code is dumped to your flash you can run it in standalone mode.

    Regards,
    Gautam

  • Thanks dear Gautam for fast replying.

I have done the first part correctly  , but I could not quite understand about the second part " once the code is dumped to your flash you can run it in standalone mode".would you please explain it more .

would you please let me know what is "standalone mode"?

what I want is to program my board. Not Debuging it ,but my board will go to suspended-state until click Resume to go to Running state .please help me to solve my problem

    thanks for attention

  • Hi Dave,

would you please let me know what is "standalone mode"?

Standalone mode means running the code just after reset (no emulator connected) which basically means boot to flash. Device has BOOTMODE pins which need to be setup for this mode (called Get Mode in document).

You can refer BOOTROM chapter for more detail on this.
