I am new to micro controller. i have no background knowledge of programming the micro controllers. Can anyone suggest me from where to start learning about the basic of programming micro controllers

Hi,

1. I would first look at the end product/system in mind
2. Begin to look at microcontroller blocks needed to achieve that.
3. Figure out which hardware is needed to prototype, then procure that
4. To program the peripherals I would look at examples to start

BTW do you have any particular microcontroller in hand and figuring out how to use it?

I have tms 320f2808 and 28035 with me.
i need to know how to write the program. What i means is how are interrupt generated, what are the different interrupt, what is the program flow (which thing should be first initialized or written), how to use adc. i tried to go through their manual and examples but i found it difficult for the beginner like me.
Any source or reference where it is explained in lucid term ( in general for any micro controller)

Ahmad,

TI has excellent training material on the web; I recommend you start there. There are very good online videos that you could watch to familiarize yourself with the architecture. For example, take a look at https://training.ti.com/c2000-mcu-1-day-workshop-series-1-8-introduction?cu=1134555

There are also many device-specific workshops that you could download/install in your PC. The only way you could learn how to program the MCU is to try out the lab examples. Links to many workshops are at the bottom of the page in http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Category:C2000_Training

Once you run the lab examples successfully, modify them and try out new things. It is also critical you get comfortable with Code Composer Studio. Again, excellent training videos are available on TI website and at https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=code+composer+studio+tutorial+for+beginners

I understand all this information could be overwhelming at the beginning. But as you go through all the training material, run the lab examples, things will slowly start to make sense. All the best.
