Part Number: TIDM-1003

Dear TI Experts:

For the schematic circuit of TIDM-1003, I found the THROTTLE command input.

1. The THROTTLE command input is related to speed, right?  It is a DC voltage input, right?   What is the DC range?  -3.3V ~3.3V?

2. Why does the THROTTLE command input connect to a ADC pin and a GPIO pin?  Do you have some suggestions in the s/w programming?

Thanks for your kind reply in advance.

  • 1) The throttle input can be assigned to any reference you'd like, such as speed. The input range is 0-3.3V that can be varied with the external potentiometer

    2) the throttle can be set to input to either an ADC pin, or an ECAP pin that is muxed with GPIO19
