I'm sure I have gone through the Launchpad's User Manual, and I haven't changed the board.

I just choose the xds110 in the CCS.

When I used the Launchpad first time, it indicated that the firmware of XDS110 must be upgraded to use, but and then the MCU could not be connected after the upgrade. When I debug, It would report the error as follow:

Error connecting to the target:
(Error -2131 @ 0x0)
Unable to access device register. Reset the device, and retry the operation. If error persists, confirm configuration, power-cycle the board, and/or try more reliable JTAG settings (e.g. lower TCLK).
(Emulation package 8.0.27.9)

I saw the same on F280049 Launchpad, but only on one project...I had a 2nd project that does not give the error, and the properties of the .ccxml file are these:
Connection: Texas Instruments XDS110 USB Debug Probe
Board or Device: TMS320F280049M

When I run "Test Connection" I get ..."All of the values were scanned correctly. The JTAG DR Integrity scan-test has succeeded."

But it always gives the error, when I debug anyone project of C2000ware.

One more thing -
Under Target Configuration-->Advanced, highlight "Texas Instruments XDS110 USB Debug Probe_0" and Under Connection Properties, go to "JTAG /SWD / cJTAG Mode" and make sure "cJTAG(1149.7) 2-pin advanced modes" is selected. I failed to do this at first, and was unable to connect.
