TMS320F280049C: Position Manager Capability / Availability & Schematic

I'm planning a design based on the 280049C for which BISS/EnDat ist mandatory.

Curently I'm working on the first schematics.

Within the other thread I learned that the position manager lib for this device is not available until now.

So for me the following questions arise:

a) Will the position manager lib for the 280049C support BISS / EnDat as advertised (and with the current silicon revision)?

b) Which resources will be used?

c) Which IOs are in use, is there already a schematic I can include to do the layout of the first sample (...and work on the other SW I need to implement).

d) What's the release date of the Pos. Manager SW lib?

    Short addition:
    Can you already provide some information about the BISS/EnDat capabilities which will be implemented.
    I just read that the existing BISS Interface works only up to 26 Bit. My key customer would like to use encoders with 32-bit position information.

    There is no release plan to fixed position manager libraries for F280049C. Currently, we are developing a tool to configure CLB by customers on their own. This tool will be made available to customers by end of 3Q19. With this tool customers can develop solutions on their own.
    We may in future provide a reference example for each of these protocols you mentioned but not as a closed source library. These examples can be used as reference by customers to develop different applications or port to different devices.

    Resources used can be similar to the F28379D implementation. But, when the tool is available, you'll have capability to tweak the implementation to meet your resource requirements based on feasibility.

    No release date fixed for F280049C - as I said before we'll be releasing the tool in 3Q19 and plan to release some Position Manager example implementation based of tool afterwards, no date has been set for this yet - but likely by end of the year.

    I think I will put a small FPGA next to it for now and check out the CLB later.
