I am currently using the motorware software for the tms320f28069m chip.

Now we are going to use the ethercat communication by introducing the et1100 chip.

Is it possible?

Yes, I would say it is possible. You can leverage the modified stack and reference use of SPI for the PDI in this solution for F28379D: www.ti.com/.../TMDSECATCNCD379D

You'll likely need to modify it, but should be a good place to start.
