TMDSEMU110-U: XDS110 JTAG Debug

Thanks for reaching out to the E2E forum, the XDS110 should work with all C28x based MCUs  including the F281x device you mention.  

Can you give some details on the error you get from Code Composer when you try and connect?

Matthew thanks for your reply, here is the error we receive

SC_ERR_PATH_BROKEN'<-233>

The JTAG IR and DR scan-paths cannot circulate bits, they may be broken.

An attempt to scan the JTAG scan-path has failed.

The target's JTAG scan-path appears to be broken

with a stuck-at-ones or stuck-at-zero fault.

What do we need to do?

Please go through the steps in the app note I posted the link to in my previous reply. We need to determine if the fault is between the emulator and the PC(host) or between the emulator and the C2000 MCU(target).
