Lost connection with eZdspF28335

Hi

I was working  on a eZdsp28335 and CCSv4. It was working ok and suddenly, without any hardware  or software

modification, I lost connection and got the following message:

Error connecting to the target:
Error 0x80000206/-1156
Fatal Error during: Memory, Register, OCS,
Lost processor clock. Device may be operating
in a low-power mode.  Do you want to bring it
out of this mode?

I tried CCSV3.3 and I still have the same connection problem.

When I connect eZdsp28335 through Jtag with XDS510LC emulator it seems to function properly.

Could be a problem of the eZdsp board?

Thanks for the reply

Now it doesn't work even with XDS510LC. In CCSv3.3 I get the following message:

Error connecting to the target:
Error 0x80000240/-604
Fatal Error during: Initialization, OCS,
This error was generated by TI's USCIF driver.

SC_ERR_LIB_ANY_LOAD <-604>
A required dynamic library could not be installed.
The attempt to load or install the library failed.

  • Hi,

The information on this wiki article may help -

    http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Troubleshooting_C2000_Debugger_Connection_Issues

In particular, if the device is in a socket, I would suggest checking that it is seated properly.  Also if you programmed the password you can have difficulty connecting as described in the wiki article.
