CCS/TMS320F28379D: TMS320F28379D launchpad - DAC configuration

Hello,

I am able to configure DACA, DACB and DACC by using sample examples.

In TMS320d28379D there are 4 DACs such as DAC1, DAC2, DAC3 and DAC4.

How to configure these 4 DACs ?

please suggest some reference code for this.

Hi,

In TMS320F28379D there are 3 instances of DAC such as DACA, DACB and DACC.

Could you please tell me what do you mean by there are 4 DACs?

I mean to say, how to configure DAC1, DAC2, DAC3 and DAC4 from TMS320F28379D.

Hi,

I have referred the Launchpad schematic to understand which DAC you were referring to.

The Launchpad signals called DAC1-4 which you are referring are actually RC filtered PWM outputs.

I need to loop in a PWM expert. Please provide me additional time.

There are many examples on how to use the ePWM module. You can refer to simple online tutorial on how a PWM signal can be converted to a an analog voltage level using a Low Pass RC filter. Please review the examples and the low-pass filter documentation and let us know if you still have any confusion.
