Part Number: TMS320F2808

Customer is asking for the whether it is possible to restore some parameters before and after XRS reset in the RAM. I want to check the flow after XRS reset, but I can not find it in the datasheet. For the other devices, it seems that the process is not the same as below. The RAM initialization will not occur in F28004x?

For F28004x, there are the below actions for XRS reset in Table 4-10. Boot ROM Reset Causes and Actions.

1. Adjust clock divider to /1
2. Device configuration
3. Clear boot stack
4. Continue default boot flow

While for F2837xS, actions for XRS reset in Table 3-8. Boot ROM Reset Causes and Actions:

1. Adjust clock divider to /1
2. Device configuration
3. RAM initialization
4. Continue default boot flow

    Aki,

The thread title says F2808, but your question pertains to F28004x. Can you clarify which device you are asking about?

It is for F2808. I just can not find the related content in F2808 datasheet, but in F28004x and F2837X.  Also,  i want to confirm how it is for F28004x.
