TMDSCNCD28379D: EAR or ITAR regulation

Part Number: TMDSCNCD28379D

Hi,

I am using the TMDSCNCD28379D control board in one of our projects.

I need to know if this product is related to any EAR (Export Administration Regulations) or ITAR regulation.

Best regards,

Salvador

  • Salvador,

    This controlCARD is 3A991A2.

There is a small caveat in how it this classification is recognized by different countries, that is documented in the link below.

  • Salvador,

my comments above were in respect to EAR compliance. TI's global trade compliance department has been contacted and I will let you know their response from an ITAR perspective.

Please note: As described in the User's Guide, this kit is designed for evaluation usage and is not intended or tested to be used in end-customers projects.

    - For end-customer systems, we recommend that customers build their own boards. The expectation is that TMDSCNCD28379D will be used only in evaluation or prototype systems.

  • Salvador,

I would like to reiterate that this board is designed for reference only and is not recommended for use in a final product.

TI does not provide licensing guidance to customers or third parties who wish to use our products in a final system. You will need to contact your Trade Compliance and Legal teams for licensing determination as it is the customer’s responsibility to determine whether their export requires an export license.

    Thanks,
    Cody
