Compiler/TMS320F280048: How to access bug tracking information for C2000 cgtools?

Hi,

This is regarding cgtools for C2000.

My customer would like to know the detailed status of open issues on C2000 C compiler.

I suggested them to install the compiler package, e.g. ti-cgt-c2000_19.6.0.STS, then look into Open_defects.html.

They understand that they can get the status of all the open defects that are recognized when releasing the package.

However, some new issues may be found after the release.

Are there any way for customer to access to the latest bug tracking information?

Unfortunately, the only solution right now is viewing the open defect lists from the most recent release. We are aware of this gap in our support, and we are considering ways to address it.

Keep in mind that, to see the Open defects for a newer release, you do not need to install it. It is available as a link on the download page.

I filed another related issue in the SDOWP system. The entry CODEGEN-6504 requests that a method be made available for customers to easily see bugs recently filed against the compiler. You are welcome to track it with the SDOWP link below in my signature.
