Hi,

The TIDA-01455 document explains as "The design features an interface to the C2000™ Delfino™ to generate up to a 20-MHz clock signal and receive and decode the modulated bit stream from the AMC1306 in Manchester coded bit format."

As I check the schematic of TIDA-01455, the CLKIN is provided by CDCLVC1102.

Is it possible to provide CLKIN from F28379D? (Is the MCLK from F28379D useful for CLKIN?)

The CDCLVC1102 is simply a buffer,

The need for a buffer depends on system design specifics and it is hard to comment whether your system will benefir or not, things to consider are how long the traces are etc.

You can also directly drive the CLKIN from the MCU output without the buffer as well.

BOth devices function the same way from a way to generate CLKIN.

Can you advise why customer is there interest in Manchester coded data?
