Hi Team,

My customer is beginning some high power designs, in the neighborhood of 4-7kW. Looking to do universal mains (85-265VAC) at 30A. The main thing they are looking to do is a 3-phase PFC into a 3-phase LLC for a high voltage DC supply design (+/-150VDC) and are intrigued by a Piccolo or other DSP approach.

Can you help point me to any orderable EVMs that my customer could purchase to start development?

I'm having trouble discovering what all is available, so I'm hoping your team can offer some pointers. One kit in particular that we found to be interesting is the HV Resonant LLC Developer’s Kit (TMDSHVRESLLCKIT). TIDM-1001 and TIDA-01604 are also very interesting; however these are not orderable.

Mitchell, let me consult with a few of the SEM folks (particularly PDS) and get some idea of which BU we might have you engage wrt what is already out there in the described area. We aren't really doing orderable reference designs out of SEM, but could possibly assemble a solution depending on the opportunity. Please allow me until Friday to get back to you.

Hi Mitchell,

We don't have any other orderable EVMs for LLC. The customer will have to use the TI Designs you mentioned (TIDM-1001 or TIDA-01604) and build/test on their own. All design files and test documents are already available on TI.com to help with this.
