Last few months I am working a firmware written for atmega128 almost using all peripherals(ADC, PWM, USART, digital i/o pins). Now I want to write the same code for tms320f28379d. My question is, can it be possible without having any difficulties? if it is possible, how can i advance?

Hi,

Yes you can easily port the same code for the mentioned peripherals on F28379D device. C2000Ware already has a lot of examples to demonstrate programming of mentioned peripherals.

Hi,

Can you please enlighten me, by giving some information, when we program ATmega128 microcontroller we erase it first and download hex file in the flash memory.

How can I program F28379D in the same way as ATmega?

Hi,

You can use Code Composer Studio to program the output file (.out) to F28379D via JTAG.

Please go through our workshop training https://training.ti.com/c2000-f2837xd-microcontroller-1-day-workshop-series Part 3.

We do provide examples at \C2000Ware_X_XX_XX_XX\driverlib\f2837xd\examples\

Every project has CPU1_RAM and CPU1_FLASH configurations. CPU1_FLASH configuration example output will be downloaded to Flash when programmed via CCS.

Use one of the examples as your reference for creating or editing projects.
