Hi,
we are using the Flash API in a custom bootloader to update our controller application in the field.
Currently we are experiencing very different execution times for the erase flash function on different controllers.
Most of the controllers take around 6 seconds for 7 sectors but we also see controllers with up to 16 seconds for the 7 sectors.
Is there a usual timeframe for erasing one sector?
Could a long erase time also indicate a problem with the flash?
