Hello,

I’m using powerSUITE to develop the 3 ph Vienna rectifier and am wondering if it’s possible to use more than proportional control in the compensation designer that’s opened through the solution adapter.

The standalone compensation designer has more options but it can't modify the solution directly.

Hi Jemma,

Please take a look at the GUI page as below before you open the compensation designer through the solution adapter. In general, for all solutions, if you can change the control type as highlighted, then it is possible. Otherwise, if this dropdown option is grayed out, then you cannot change it.

Hi Chen,

I've seen this drop down menu, the only options are P or PI. In the standalone version there is a PID option as well, is this not available through the solution adapter?

Hi,

Yes, if it is not there in the dropdown menu, then it is not available to modify the code using PID through solution adapter. However, you can still use the standalone version to tune it and modify the code by yourself if you want.
