CCS/LAUNCHXL-F28379D: SCI-B communication with PC

I am now exploring with SCI communication with LAUNCHXL-F28379D, I am beginner and using example code given in TI resources. It was working fine on testing with putty. I have a python code which is transmitting a single character only once. but loop count increments randomly. this shows there is communication happening my python code and controller but there is some error or garbage values are also added while transmission. Can anyone suggest where could be the issue.
Did you try to watch the traffic using an oscilloscope?
Did you try to check whether F28379D SCI received the expected character or not (apart from the garbage)?

Thank You fro your reply, I tried receiving what is the value that is transmitted from the controller from my python code and I was able to see " b ' ' " at the output receiving continuously and tried changing the format of data transmitted and now working fine.
