CCS/TMS320F28035: Controller Pins Damaged in Field Return Units

Dear Sir,

We are Using TMS320F28035 Controller for Motor Application and we have Supplied almost 10,000 no's to field .We are Getting Field return after 1.5year and observed the Controller Pins are Damaged. Please find the below mention pins , which we observed Shorted to Gnd.

VDD 18.1

VDD 18.2

VDD18.3

GPIO20,GPIO21 and GPI036(TMS).

Please find the attached schematic for your ready reference.

Kindly note that we are using controller internal regulator of 1.8V and internal oscillator .

we look forward for your analysis and suggestions to take the corrective actions for further production lots.

How many such devices have come back from the field? It is likely EOS/ESD damage.

Would you be willing to share the schematics with me privately? If so, I can send you a friendship request. Once you accept it, we can take the conversation offline. Going by the nature of the issue, I think a private conversation may be more appropriate.
