TMDSCNCD28388D: TMS32F28388x SYS/BIOS break point

May be you are out of hardware breakpoints. Can you clear some of them?

Thank you for yours answer. It is wery useful information. And realy it was switched on  "Enable CIO function use".

And on the DSP cores(CPU1 , CPU2) side it leads to resolve problem.

But on the CM side not.

The Loading for debug has next sequence

1) Select   the debug configuration of CPU1 (it main core which start CPU2 and CM)

2) Upload firmaware to CPU1 by clicing button debug.

3) Attach the CM

4) And load firmware for CM -   Run/Load/Load Program and selection *.out file  for CM.

The firmware for CM is independet project with its own debug configuration.

But Due to mentioned above approach for start debugging (I upload CM firmware without care debug configuration),

I do not know exactly which debug configuration is applayed to the CM side.

So question is how debug system is configured for CM  in case if debug session is started by above metioned way?

I use Systemprintf to see values of variables but  the problem is still exist for CM.

For CM, you are using SysBios based project? Are you using SysMin in cfg file for debug print?

Today I was able to find a F2838xD device and I tried DriverLib Led example.

C:\ti\C2000Ware_2_01_00_00\driverlib\f2838x\examples\c28x_cm\led. I am able to set the breakpoint on both CPU1 and CM.  On CM, just set, normal breakpoint (not hardware breakpoint). Please see the screen below.

On your setup, when you connect CM and load the firmware, does it go to main() ?
