TMS320F2808: Flash programming using BPM Microsystems Programmer

Our customer is having difficulty programming the TMS320F2808 with BPM Microsystems programmer:

We are having difficulty burning our software image using BPM Microsystems device programmer (https://bpmmicro.com/ , Model 1710).

Do you know if TI deals with this vendor directly and maybe can help us with the troubleshooting effort ? They claim that this particular DSP (TMS320f2808) is supported, but I have a feeling that they never tried it before.

Any experience with this tool? Are there any other tools you would suggest?

Unfortunately I haven't directly worked on BPM1710 programmer before.

In the past, we have had BPMmicro contact us regarding specific question about our devices.

Have you already tried contacting BPM programmer regarding the issue?

I did contact BPM; it appears that they indeed have some issue here that they need to resolve.

Is it possible for you folks to send them some samples if need be? (BPM is also located in Houston)

Looks like the problem ended up being a byte/word alignment issue in the intel hex file format they were using. Seem to be good to go now.

We can probably close out this thread.
