CONTROLSUITE: Does controlSUITE include Open Source Software (OSS) or not?

Hello,

Our customer is asking that does controlSUITE include Open Source Software (OSS) or not?
Actually, they would like to avoid incorporating OSS parts in their firmware.

Yoshita,

What piece of software are you attempting to retrieve from controlSUITE? Please note that C2000Ware has replaced controlSUITE and has the latest up to date information. Within C2000Ware, you will find the appropriate licenses listed for the various software pieces inside the manifest file.

Customer want to know whether OSS is included in files under following folder.

\ti\controlSUITE\libs
\ti\controlSUITE\device_support\F2837xD

Hi,

The software in those directories are licensed as open source software but they are in fact original to TI. i strongly suggest that you migrate to C2000Ware. You will find the manifest for the product in the root directory. I've attached a copy of the latest manifest for your reference.C2000Ware_3.02.00.00_manifest.html
