TMDSEMU110-U: XDS110 /XDS510 compatibility for CCSv7

Part Number: TMDSEMU110-U

Hi Team, we would like to confirm if the XDS110 and XDS510(old device) compatibility for CCSv7 and does CCSv7 have 32-bit and 64-bit versions.

Thanks.

CCSv7 for Windows is only 32-bit

CCSv7 on Linux and macOS is only 64-bit

  • Hi,

My XDS510 USB Debugger does not show up under Property-> general-> connection of CCS7.

I am using window10 64bits. I expected to see XDS510 USB Listed under connection, but it is not there. This debugger works well with CCS5

There is no difference while I select DEBUG or Release. I opened SD configEx, it does find JTAG device.

I have no idea why CCS7 could not recognize this XDS510 automatically while plug in, and is there a way to add it manually to CCS7?

Thanks for your time and support.

XDS510 USB support is enabled by third party drivers. If you have a Spectrum Digital or Blackhawk XDS510 USB probe, then you need to make sure that you explicitly enable support for it during the CCS installation process (it is NOT enabled by default).

If you want to enable it after installation, you can re-run the installer over your existing installation. The installer will detect an existing installation and allow you to add components that you missed before.

    Thanks
