is there any limit on boolean equation length in CLB tile's sub module i.e. LUT_1 ?
means how long boolean equation we can make in "equ"?

Harshit,
I don't believe there there are any practical limits on how long the boolean equation can be.

Hi Peter,
Like this equation how much long I can use operations like and ,or ,xor, not in a single equation .
Is there no limit in writing the boolean equation or is there any limit like up to some operations for example 100 operators(& | ! ^^) in a single equation?
Are you sure there is no limit in writing long equation?
Thanks & Regards,
Harshit.
Harshit,
I was told by the team that developed the CLB tool that there is not a practical limit on the size of the boolean equation. I think even a 100 operators should be OK, if you can track/document the logic that deep. You can always write a test logic sequence with 100 operators and try it out inside the CLB tool to know for sure.

Peter,
A register in clb is : TILE1_CFG_LUT4_FN2
i wanted clarify what value to put in above register to do operation like i0&i2 on LUT4_1 unit 2.
Thanks
Harshit
Using CLB tool it generated as follows for i0&i1 (operation in LUT_2 ):
#define TILE1_CFG_LUT4_FN2 0x8888
how 0x8888 is generated .
how would i know to put 0x8888 in above register without CLB tool.
THanks
Harshit
Harshit,
The expectation is that you use the CLB tool and function calls to program the CLB. I believe that other methods are not supported.
I will close this post now, you can reopen it any time if you have additional questions or something new comes up.
