Hi Team,

Good day, we received inquiry from a customer and want to confirm regarding the compatibility of the new launchpad F28379 with mathlab2018b and CCS6.2/7.1.

Based from the combination of setup used, the new launchpad F28379 is not working when using Matlab2018b and CCS6.2/7.1. Please see attached file.

Is it correct that there is compatibility issue with our device? If not, is there a possible reason why device is not working on other setup?

Maynard,

I am not familiar with any compatibility issue between board bought last year vs this year.

What exactly is not working? Is it connectivity issue or the functionality/feature is not working?

Hi Santosh,

The customer, cannot upload the simulink model to the new board. All boards (6) showing same error. Please see error in theError.zip attached file.

I am checking with MathWorks team if there is any issue in the model?

Meanwhile, what is the board revision in the newer one and older board?

Also, can you ask customer to check if they can connect the newer board with CCS and run any C2000ware example? Just wanted to make sure if there is any JTAG connectivity issue.

Hi Santosh,

I just received customer reply. Due to the pandemic they cannot try the device with C2000ware, however, the customer will try it next week.
On the other hand, customer provided information(image) about the board they are using. Kindly see attached file.

I looked at the attached document. Not much changes between two launchpads, it should at least connect and run C2000ware driverlib examples same way on both boards. Please let me know when the customer has chance to try the C2000ware examples.
