CCS/TMS320F28379D: Inquiry about TMS320F2837xD Microcontroller Workshop

Miyazaki-san,

Is customer able to normally load/run code otherwise? For example, are they able to run an example from C2000ware. Try a simple example from C:\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_3_03_00_00\driverlib\f2837xd\examples\cpu1\gpio. Are they able to set a breakpoint, single-step etc?

Is the device secured with passwords?

Thanks for your advice. I’m requesting customer to try “gpio_ex1_setup” project now. Regarding CSM Passwords, I don’t believe they set it.

I’m sorry for my late input. Since there are some workshop in TI training Web, it seemed those projects were conflicted. Customer tried to do Re-Installation, they confirmed those project worked fine. Thanks for your help, Hareesh.

By the way, I received one additional inquires “IER (Interrupt Enable Register” in Workshop Manual Page77 (https://software-dl.ti.com/trainingTTO/trainingTTO_public_sw/c28x28379/F2837xD_Microcontroller_MDW_2-0.pdf). Regarding Lab5, there is the following description.

“- Enable the appropriate core interrupt in the IER register”

Customer was checking IER register in TRM, however, they are not able to find it. Customer would like to know what page they should refer to in TRM. Can I have your advice/comments on this, please?

( As far as I checked it. I was not able to find it... I believe it is easy to understand IER in Workshop Manual p77-p80 )
