My question is: how can I make the On-Chip flash option in the tools menu work so that I can enter a preset password? When the password of the Target has been activated, how can I enter the debug session?

The PC running ccs6.1.0 has established physical connection with the target through XDS100. The Connect Target in the Run menu is gray. If the Target’s password has been activated, ccs6.1.0 will display an error when debug is selected or press F11 and cannot continue. Only when the password in the Target is not activated, select Debug or press F11 to successfully enter the debug session, and the On-Chip flash option in the Tools menu is valid.

Hi,

Please attach some screenshots to show that the On-chip flash plugin GUI is not available even after the target CPU is connected. That will help us to analyze further. Thank you.
