Dynamic brake in Motorware

FOC is essentially doing dynamic braking. you can control the current in motoring and generating. Your HW needs to be able to handle any regen from the system though.

depends on what you mean by stop.
if you set a 0 speed, the control system will try to keep 0 speed and PWM keeps running

if you disable the RunIdentify flag the PWMs are disabled

if you want to brake the inverter you can turn all high sides or low sides on (depending on your inverter) using the PWM functions. There are several posts on this forum on that topic.

What PWM functions should I use to turn all high or low sides on? I searched the posts and was not able to locate one. Could you please point me to an example or the posts? Thank you.
