BLDC Sensored Six step Commutation

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CONTROLSUITE

Hi,

I am using TMDSHVMTRPFCKIT BLDC Sensored project.

1) Is there any way to plot the waveform of the electromagnetic torque generated in six step commutation control.

I need to analyze the amount of torque ripple produced in  it.

All I know is,  Tem = (Ea*Ia + Eb*Ib + Ec*Ic) / Wm .

2) The Back Emf wave-forms are shown in the project . How these waveforms are measured from the phases ?

3) How can I measure the phase currents and give it to ADC?

4) Or is there any other term which is directly proportional to the torque produced.?

Regards,

  • 1. Use dlog structure variable to plot waveforms using the graph tool of the ccs.
    2. Recommend reviewing the PDF file given in "C:\ti\controlSUITE\development_kits\HVMotorCtrl+PfcKit_v2.1\HVBLDC_Sensorless\~Docs"
    3. The voltage across shunt resistor from the inverter bottom switches represent motor currents. This is amplified and given to ADC.
    4. Power, Iphase
