Hi all,

Is there any c28x user guide or wiki pages to start work on assembly language programming using ccssv7 for c28x core.

In CCS, there is an option to create a assembly only project, is that has to follow?

No option in to create a new .asm file. ?

Any links for example projects for f28379d MCU?

A project that has an assembly language file in it. "acos_asm.asm"

Looks like there is a way to create an assembly only project.

File>New>CCS Project>Empty Assembly-only Project

Ashok,

Typically, C2000 users would write a C program, and make assembly function calls in order to improve the performance of time critical parts of the program. This allows the lengthy but non-time critical parts, such as device initialization, to be kept in C where they can easily be modified.

I recommend you create or modify a C project an then add in assembly modules as you need them. The digital control library suggested in the last post contains some CCS example projects written in this way.

There isn't a recent training course on C2000 assembly programming, unfortunately. The only one I know of is the F2812 multi-day workshop, here:

You can find some relevant slides in the appendices for that workshop.
