TMDSDOCK28069: Kit details

Part Number: TMDSDOCK28069
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMDSCNCD28069, , CONTROLSUITE

Hi,

TMDSSOCK28069 kit includes TMDSCNCD28069 control card.

Which package and part no used in TMDSCNCD28069 control card?

Can you provide complete part no used in TMDSCNCD28069 control card?

  • Hi Yash,

The TMDSCNCD28069 and TMDSDOCK28069 product pages (see links to the left) provide detail on what items are put in the box when a kit is ordered.

Schematics, Bill-Of-Materials, and other information for each of the boards can be found in controlSUITE:
    /controlSUITE/development_kits/~ExperimentersKits/ExperimentersKit-HWdevPkg/
    /controlSUITE/development_kits/~controlCARDs/CC2806xHWdevPkg/R1_1/

    Hopefully this helps!

    Thank you,

  • Hi,

I have already checked those folder. There are two files are there one is BOM and other is infosheet.

In info sheet image is given for control card. and the part no is in image is X320F28069PZA.

When checking in BOM it is mentioned as F28069U (TI) SMD (LQFP-100). Which one is correct ?

There is a PDF of schematic in that part no mention is F28069U-PZPS. According ti.com this part is HTQFP | 100. Where in BOM given part no is F28069U (TI) SMD (LQFP-100).

Can you plz provide correct complete part no?
  • Hi,

The part number utilized on the controlCARD is the TMS320F28069UPZT.

Prior to the F2806x family of devices going to production, pre-production devices were used.

    ===

Please note that the footprint on the controlCARD PCB contains a PowerPad.  As a result, we should be using something like the TMS320F28069UPZPS on this board.

There is a minimal reliability risk in using a footprint that has a PowerPad with a device that doesn't, however it was deemed to not be a significant risk for an EVM used in a laboratory environment that wouldn't be overly stressed.

    Thank you,
    Brett
