Dear Sir,

I  am currently working on the TMS based experimenter kit to control the Switched reluctance motor . Many things i experimented . I would like to go for my actual board design. I need to actuate the SRM motor of 2A capacity. Which series of micro controller is best suitable for this. I need to do position sensing of inductor based on capture model . PWM actuation is to be done based on the position sensing .I am going to start my new design. I should select a controller which should be available in the market for long time . kindly suggest a good part and the reference design also pl. this is for automotive suspension system based on SRM control.

Kindly suggest me the suitable SRM  Gate drive as well as MOSFET circuitry to do the job also.

    Hi,

    We don't have any TI reference design to point you to. But we have seen IEEE publications that use TMS320F2803x/33x for SRM control. In general, all of C2000 devices are capable of the computational needs of such control I presume. Besides suggesting you to search in IEEE, I am sorry that we don't have any quick solution to offer.
