Hi,

In one project, I want to use Manchester bit stream(Which is encoded with Sigma Delta modulation) to transfer data from hot side to cold side with 10 kV isolation through pulse transformers. With this Manchester bit stream, I can use only one isolation transformer instead of two(Data and Clock) and eliminate other synchronization issues with PCB layout . Please suggest low cost Manchester bit stream decoder(micro controller ) without clock signal between Encoder and decoder.

Hi Raja,

We've talked about the AMC1210 already. You mentioned as well that you were using the TMS320F280049RSH controller, which also supports Manchester decoding. The ADS1203 has an internal modulator clock, so you don't need to use a second isolation channel to provide a clock to the modulator. In Manchester mode, the AMC1210 or the MCU uses an internal clock to decode the single DATA line Manchester encoded stream.
