Recently,I use instaspin lab4 to adjust my motor to work,

when i set the iq_ref = 0.6A , the motor can successfully startup but when i set iq_ref = 0.7A,motor start failed,

strangelly,when I use "forced angle"startup routine to start my motor ,motor can startup by 4.5A max-current

So,i don't know why I set Iq_ref>0.6A,the motor start failed ?

and what is the "forced angle" ?

What kit, lab, and software are you using? Is there any load adding on the motor. I assume you are using the lab4 in motorWare, this lab is torque current control lab and just for a reference demo by setting the Iq reference by manual, you can't set a large reference Iq directly, you have to add an Iq ramp control if you want to set a large reference Iq.
