Is there any data on the accuracy of insta-SPIN or the FAST Estimator as compared to a sensored application. Are there any examples of tuning the FAST Estimator with a shaft encoder for sensor-less operation? 

For example I want to tune the angle accuracy to improve power factor on my sensor-less motors, with a setup off line that has an identical motor that is sensored.

  • There is no exact data to show the performance since the speed and angle resolutions are dependent on many factors, such as the current/voltage sensing, motor parameters, and loading.. So improving the current/voltage feedback signal and exact motor parameter are very important.
