TMS320F28069: WDCLK on the TRM

Dear Champs,

I am asking this for our customer.

On Figure 1-44 of the TRM (SPRUH18H).

The WDLCK in red in the below figure should be OSCCLK or not?

It's confusing there is another WDCLK after Watchdog Prescaler.

Do you have any comment?

Yes, this is either OSCCLKSRC1(default on reset) or OSCCLKSRC2(customer must write a 1 to the WDCLKSRCSEL in the CLKCTL register. This can be seen in a previous figure Fig 1-19 in the TRM.

Dear Matt,

Why don't we just use OSCCLK to replace the WDCLK in Figure 1-44 and in Figure 1-19?

Is there any concern?

If we can change this we should replace the 2nd WDCLK after the prescaler in fig 1-44 to the customer's point(with WDCLK_PS or something). I think the WDCLK term coming into the block is correct since it could be either OSC1 or OSC2SRC depending on the mux.

I can look into fixing this, this figure is likely in alot of Piccolo class TRMs.
