TMS320F28027F: TMS320F28027F -gMotorVars-1.8V LDO- isolation simulator

Part Number: TMS320F28027F
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MOTORWARE

Hi

Question 1:

Flag_Run_Identify = false or Flag_enableSys = false if the motor is frequently turned on and off.

Question 2:

What are the effects of using the 1.8V LDO inside the MCU?

1) The 3V3 LDO we directly connected externally to the 1.8V power supply was found to burn the chip

2) Later, the 1.8V pin only connected with one capacitor, and found that there was no problem

3) Whether external 1.8V is needed to access this pin

Question 3:

The system is powered by high voltage 310V, and the board is not powered by isolated power. How can it be guaranteed to keep on during the simulation?

Tried isolation simulator will still disconnect, heard that there are two levels of isolation, I wonder if there is such a scheme?

Thanks!

  • 1. Only need to set the Flag_Run_Identify  to true or false for starting and stopping the motor.

    2. Please refer to the datasheet of the device or the schematic of the F28027 launchPad or controlCard, you might know how to use the internal LDO.

    3. Refer to the guides for the high voltage kit at the folders of the motorWare. Recommend using an external isolating AC or DC power supply for the board, computer, and instruments in a high voltage environment since the ground planes of both the power domains are the same.
