Hi,

We are in a design phase using TMS320F28377S for UPS application. We have a requirement to use 2 UARTs using MODBUS RTU for external communication. our queries are below:

1. Using 2 UARTs separately for 2 MODBUS RTU , is it feasible ?

2. Do you have any sample code for MODBUS which can be run on this TMS320F28377S or any other similar controllers ?

3. Where can I find sample examples for MODBUS and UART for TI C2000 controllers?

Hi Parvathi,

TI has not investigated, built examples, or have experience with this protocol. As a result, our support will be limited primarily to C2000-level questions for this. Please see the following thread regarding a community-implemented modbus protocol, that could be a good starting point, but is not guaranteed to be bug-free or use-able:
