Hello TI

we use motorware for our gan drive. as the application is high speed (low inductance motor ) so far we tested it with 100 kHz SW. however higher than 100 k is not applicable. in the software (user.h) it says:

For higher PWM frequencies (60 KHz+ typical for low inductance, high current ripple motors) it is recommended to use the ePWM hardware.

How we can use ePWM hardware. in motorware as recommended?

What the maximum electrical frequency is your motor? Any resolution requirement on the speed control?

All of the C2000 controllers use the ePWM modules for motor control in motorWare, but the high-resolution PWM of ePWM module is not necessary for motor control in most cases.

3 kHz is the maximum fundamental frequency.

the resolution is not an issue.

You might implement 60kHz PWM switching frequency and 20kHz control frequency with F2806xF for your motor.

Please refer to lab02c which is for the low inductance motor as yours.
