TMS320F28388D: Can hex2000 work on the CM-core or is there an equivalent utility?

I have been using the hex2000 utility for years on our C2000 products, and now we are developing on the 28388; when I try to use the hex2000 utility on the CM out-file, hex2000 states the out file "has an incompatible machine ID of ARM". Is there documentation to explain how to adapt the hex2000 utility to the ARM or is there a separate utility?
