Hi Team,

Customer is interested in TI's CONTROLCARD TMS320F28379D EVAL and want to confirm it is possible to used this in their project or is there other device that is much better. Below is the inquiry.

"I am working on a Project and it is power supply for electrosurgery. For finish this project, I need to sense high frequency current, about 400 kHz, and then use dsp or other advanced processor to do closed loop control. As a result, I need to see which DSP and current sensing solution is the best choice for me."

Hi Maynard,

If their concern/interest is mainly focused on ADC, then our latest device f28004x/f2837x/f2838x should be fine with around 3.5MSPS. This could support enough current oversampling for 400kHZ switching current. If they have further interest in 16 bit ADC, f2837x and f2838x can support it.

They really need to consider what else they need in their application to decide which one they would like to use.
